Nicky Chue aka seedling library is a queer Afro-Asian artist and filmmaker from Berlin. They graduated with a BA in Film & Television from the University of Arts London in 2017, and have been self-publishing zines since 2022.

Their work connects visual art, an appreciation for nature and transformation of language in the form of short films, zines, poetry, workshops and translation work. These different modes of expression inform each other and strengthen Nicky’s overall artistry.

At its heart, Nicky’s work always aims to centre and archive Black & PoC perspectives of queer, inter* and trans experience.
